One of the largest conversion projects in the Rhine-Main region
In 2019, Four Parx developed one of the largest brownfield projects in the Rhine-Main region. On the former production site of Südzucker AG in Groß-Gerau, with a total area of 243,000 m², Four Parx built four construction phases with a total rental area of around 115,000 m². Four Parx is investing several million euros in the development of a 40,000 m² landscaped park with recreational areas, cycle paths, walking trails and a children's playground. Four Parx also invested around EUR 500,000 in the construction of a lizard habitat for the resident wall lizard (Podarcis muralis). In addition, Four Parx developed a 170,000 m² biotope landscape of the ponds formerly used as sedimentation areas with security measures to preserve the bird sanctuary.
